Bringing
brachial plexus injury awareness to your religious community can
be very inspiring for many people - including the family member
who is injured.
This
is a good way to share about your feelings, your reality. You may
reach many families in their childbearing years and offer them
information about risk factors as well.
We
hope that this is something you will choose to get involved in
this year. Make
arrangements with your place of worship first. Donate
a flower arrangement for services that week in recognition of
Awareness Week. Donate
and light a candle in recognition of Awareness Week. Share
with the congregation during a sharing time (joys & sorrows)
or give a "sermon". Submit
and article or notice in religious newsletters or papers. Hand
out literature during a tea and coffee gathering after services.
