The purpose of the Brachial Plexus Injury Poster Contest is to promote
international awareness among all age groups and
encourage our community to creatively participate in
expressing their thoughts about brachial plexus
injuries.
SUGGESTED THEMES:
Anything
relating to brachial plexus injuries or pick one of the
following themes— “Hand in Hand, Together We
Can”, “Bring Brachial Plexus Injuries to Light”,
“Uniting in Awareness”, “Ringing in Awareness.”
HOW TO ENTER:
1. One poster per
child/teen/adult.
2. Age groups: (a) 5-10 (b)
11-13 (c) 14-18 (d) 18+
3. Submitted poster ideas must
be on plain white 8 ˝" x 11" paper or
standard international A4 size, one side only.
4. Entrant’s name & age,
parent's name (for child), address, phone number, e-mail
and theme chosen should be printed on back.
5. Poster must be an original
art work: no tracing, stencils, photographs or clip art.
Art work may be pencil, pen, marker, crayons, watercolor
or poster paint.
6. Individual entries or
entries created at a brachial plexus picnic can be
mailed by the picnic coordinator in a 9" by
12" (or standard international A4 type) envelope
to: UBPN, Inc. 1610 Kent Street, Kent, OH 44240. (email address:
info@ubpn.org) The deadline for
submitting a poster is ______________________.
7. Entries will be judged by a
U.S. jury. Three semi-finalists from each age group will
be chosen and then a final selection will be made.
8. Entries will not be returned
to participants but will remain the property of UBPN,
Inc..
9. Winners will be notified by
__________________________ by telephone or by email.
10. The winning
entry might be featured in an upcoming Outreach
Newsletter issue, shown on the www.ubpn.org website and,
possibly, as an awareness poster for future publicity.

Criteria
for poster contest winners include: (a) must meet
guidelines set for the contest (b) reproducibility for
publication (c) clarity of artwork [must be bpi related]
(d) a majority consensus by a panel of professionals
with an interest in bpi. UBPN reserves the right to not
declare a winner if there aren’t any suitable entries
in a given age group.
