Little country flags next to your name...

Post by katep »

How do I get one? Instead of "Old Glory" I have N/A when I look at the users who are online. Everyone else has nifty little flags next to their names. I want one!

Kate,

I don't know the answer but it has something to do with the IP address of the computer you are using. It is not connected with your login or your userid. Mine shows a Greek flag when I am logged in now because I am in Greece, and when I am in the states, I get the USA flag.

Do you block your ip address? Maybe that's it?

Oh, that is probably it. My address isn't blocked, but it goes through a router. I'll ask my geek husband!

I want to see flags! Where are they? Does mine show that I'm in the great country of Texas?

Scott,
LOL, you will probably have an American flag as Texas hasn't declared it's independence yet.
You have to be signed in to see if you have a flag. Click at the top of the page on message board. Then you will see a part that says xxxx guests, xxx users. more info. Click on this and you can see where the online users are from. That's where the little flags are.
