I am almost 4 years since my injury. I am just now beginning to wean myself off the percoset. I am still taking lyrica and tramadol as needed. I have found some pain relief creams that are very helpful. I like Salon Pas and horse linament (sounds weird). I am eager to hear about muscle transfers.

Do you play golf? Before my injury, I used to play (terribly, but I enjoyed it). I have limited use of my right hand and can not grip a club. My husband wants me to learn to play one handed. It was difficult to learn with 2 good hands. Any suggestions?

I suggest that you look up Tim Farmer. He lives in Frankfort, KY. If you google him you will find his story. He was the former host of Kentucky Afield. His right arm and hand were paralyzed after a motorcycle accident. He hunts, fishes, and anything else he wants to do one handed.

I was a passenger on the motorcycle. The driver, my cousin, was not injured. After having a nerve transfer and 2 tendon transfers, I still have limited function and feeling in my right hand. I have learned how to do almost everything that I used to do with my left hand that I used to do right handed...

I was in a motorcycle accident 3 years ago. I had a broken humerous and a BPI. I had a nerve transfer, tendon transfers and lots of physical and occupational therapy. I played piano all my life.
