He is doing really well. He does still seem to fuss when I nurse him with his right side against me, as is he's still sore or something. But he has amazing ROM, and I'm doing gentle ROM exercises with him. The pediatrician said she thinks he'll make a full recovery. We see her again on Tues. So he'll be watched closely and she said just to be cautious of his arm, though he's doing well with it, try to keep it close to him when he's resting or being held.
Thanks for asking.

So glad to hear he is doing so well...

How are you doing? I see you getting out and I'm sure the more he moves the better you feel. I've been thinking you and praying he makes a quick recovery. He is a beautiful baby.

Love

We went to another pediatrician appt. today, he gained almost a lb in a week.
She set him up with OT this coming Monday, and a neuro appt for Oct. 18th. When she put him on his belly today, he just layed on the injured side, didn't lift himself at all. Thought still getting good movement in the arm overall at least in my thoughts. So I'm glad they seem to be on top of things, and it seems he'll be watched closely for the coming months.

Any thoughts on questions for the OT visit?

Went for OT yesterday. She just watched him move and looked to see what he can do. They had the wrong arm written down, so she was confused a bit. But she said the good news is you can barely tell a difference in his arms. He's doing REALLY well and he's working on his movements all by himself.
Made me feel better that she's very familiar with BPI's. Her son even has one from birth. Left some info with her about UBPN which she was excited about.
We go back next month for Neuro appt. & another OT appt. Seems he'll make a full recovery with no trouble.
