Hi there, I am looking for video evidence of post Mayo surgery. I was injured August 2014 and ended up having surgery at Mayo March 2015. I was given no direction after having mri and emg done, just told that arm would never work again and Dr. had no clue where to send me at the end of the appointment. I had no idea how extensive the damage was post appointment. I scoured the Internet and nearly went to see Dr. Wolfe in NY, but was steered the Mayo way by orthopedic hand specialist. I'm hoping I made the right decision and was just hoping to see some video evidence of some sort of recovery by others.

I had c5 nerve graft, neuroma c6 deemed unusable, c7,c8,t1 avulsion, free muscle transfer, intercostal nerve graft, as well as spinal accessory nerve graft.

You sure had alot of surgeries
From my life time with birth erbs with no help from any doctor , On one hand I am so amazed any doctor can say there is no referral to a a specialist that treat these injures. There a list here of the limited list of Doctors ;)
I hope there is a video that shows , positive outcomes from what you want
I will tell you grasp is the best thing to get when you can . outcomes, well we all post positive outcomes with or without help  ;)
Sometimes you really are better off to remember ,how far you come trying in-spite of direction,
Your doing great, it tough being us ;) :D
Just Thinking

Gracilus muscle is becoming innervated. Sensory is working its way down interior forearm. Went back to Mayo a week a go and had emg which looks very good and all muscles look to be on track to be innervated in the next 6-8 months. Had the second part of my surgery done which was wrist fusion. Once I get cast off arm here in a month I begin therapy again on arm and should start to see some results.
