Help, please

Post by admin »

All of a sudden, one day, instead of seeing " Welcome

Grandma LOu in NH ", I now see " Welcome Guest". Kath

suggested that I turn off the firewall first but that

has not solved the problem. Why does this keep

happening? Any ideas on how it can be corrected?

It seems a shame that the moderators have to deal

with guest posts when that person is actually a

registered poster. Thanks, Lou

Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.

Lou, this occasionally happens to me and when I notice it, I just log in (right below where it says "Welcome, Guest"). ~Tina

I see your problem is not yet resolved...

Hmmm, did you email "him"? Busy weekend, but maybe he can fit it in (if he knows the reason why)

Hi Steve or should I say, Mr. Peggy. [ LOL]

We have been away for awhile but upon our return

and checking the boards, I saw your suggestions to my

plea. Sorry to say that none of them worked. I just

don't understand because the problem came on so

suddenly. To recap, when I go to UBPN, it says,

" welcome guest" instead of my screen name. When I try

to manually sign in, it says, " invalid user name or

password". It's just a shame that the moderators have

extra work for a registered user not a guess. Do you

or anyone else have further suggestions?

Thanks so much, Steve and best to you and family,

Lou

Lou,
I just read your post to Steve (he's busy with our little princess...) and he said if you've forgotten your password that is easy to take care of the problem. Is that it? If so, email him directly and he can take care of that for you.

Good luck!
