1996 after move. Directed clinic at New York University before move.

Pediatric neurosurgery, pediatric orthopedist, pediatric P/T and O/T and physiatrist.
What do you/your clinic specialize in treating?

  • trauma or other brachial plexus injuries

State your philosophy regarding evaluation, referral and treatment of obstetrical brachial plexus injuries in children.

I would like to see by 1 month of age, if by 4-5 months poor recovery, then MRI, EMG and NCS. Surgery usually done 5-7 months if indicated.
State your philosophy regarding evaluation, referral and treatment of trauma or other brachial plexus injuries in children.

Consider surgery 6 months after injury if poor recovery.
State your philosophy regarding evaluation, referral and treatment of obstetrical brachial plexus injuries in adults.

Orthopedic evaluation.
State your philosophy regarding evaluation, referral and treatment of trauma or other brachial plexus injuries in adults.

Consider surgery 6 months after injury if poor recovery.
State your philosophy regarding pain management and brachial plexus injuries.

Consider neurolysis or sympathectomy.
Indicate research efforts (include dates please) conducted by you specific to brachial plexus injuries.

Clinical- currently evaluate MRI of injuries vs. operative findings.
Indicate any other facts that you feel would help families and individuals understand your practice.

Multidisciplinary longitudinal follow up of patients.
