Florida BPI Specialists/Clinics

John A. I. Grossman, MD, FACS

Response to UBPN questionnaire:
NOTE: Dr. Grossman preferred not to answer the questionnaire but instead submitted his answers in the form of a statement, as follows.

We treat brachial plexus and peripheral nerve injuries in both infants and adults. The program at Miami Children's Hospital was begun in 1990 by Dr. Israel Alfonso, a Pediatric Neurologist and in 1996 merged with the program developed at NYU Medical Center by myself, Lorna E. Ramos, M.A., OTR/L and our associates. We continue to provide services in New York as well through our close affiliation with Dr. Andrew E. Price a member of Hand and Peripheral Specialists who is also on the Miami Children's Hospital Staff. Bibliographic and biographic information, publications, etc. are all available on the following websites: handandnervespecialist.com and brachialplexusmd.com

We believe that it is often deceiving and inappropriate to release information on numbers of cases etc. However, a review of our literature will give an idea of the scope of our experience and expertise.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Lorna E. Ramos, M.A., OTR/L the clinical coordinator for our program at 305-666-2004
