I practically begged for a c-section. I had other factors including a grandmother I never knew because of dying during childbirth, a mother who was severaly injured while trying to give birth natuarlly. Plus, having gained 40 lbs while trying not to and being told that my baby was 8++ after the sonogram. The doctor decided that instead of a c-section that he would induce me 1 week early and then was very HAPPY with himself for doing so.
I think this natural childbirth is for the birds- doctors and HMO's are trying to cut costs and convince women that natural is the only way to go. I wish I could put both my HMO & my doctor OUT-OF-BUSINESS FOREVER!!!!
