Joan Caligiuri is 50, from Havilah. via Myrtleford. Victoria, Australia..
Family:youngest daughter Andrea 11 has erbspalsy. Joanne and Helen 29 and27 both healthy. parents divorced.
Andrea was born with much excitement because she came into our lives when the older children were ready to leave home. She was a 10lb baby and even though her birth was only two and a half hours long , her left shoulder was caught behind the front pelvic bone and with much pulling she was helped to be born.
Since her birth I have done so much physio, play, exercises,ballet, swimming and enjoying life to the full.My confidence was tested and with needing to search out our own medical help 10 years ago we have a happy and well adjusted child who still needs medical assistance with Tachycardia which I believe is related to erbspalsy.
