Family:
our third born was a very large baby at birth and due
to shoulder dystocia and other factors ended up in a
neonatal icu on a ventilator and many other complications
. needless to say he ended up with a severe brachial
plexus injury. all 5 nerves involved with C8 and T1
avulsed. he underwent a brachial plexus exploration
with 6 nerve graphs being done. it was a very stress
filled experience and now we wait to see what grows!
now its a matter of patience and PT/OT. we would be happy
to hear from any other families with children who
