my son was born on may 28, 1997 he is now 2 1/2 years old. I had a difficult labor and birth, he got stuck at the shoulders and they had to twist and pull him out. Well he was diagnosed with right erbs palsy. We like a lot of other parents were told to wait and he would get movement back.Finally we called a neourologist are selves well at 3 months old he finally got therapy. He has been in therapy every since. He has good finger and hand movement and can raise is arm just about straight out from his body. But he can't raise it any higher. Finally after reading some of these stories we talked to his doctor and they are sending a video tape of him in therapy to Texas childrens hospital to see if there is anything they can do for him. If anybody has taken a child over 2 to them can you please e-mail me or anyone else that would just like to talk with a mother with a child with erbs. thank you and I am sorry this was so long.
