| This story is New Story submitted by Andrea Hudson on December 12, 1999 at 09:54:48: Andrea Hudson is 31, from New Jersey. Family: I have always been curious about a condition that resulted at birth called Erb's Palsy. I never could find any info and my parents aren't very knowledgeable either. Upon searching the topic I found a lot of info. I forgot to mention that I do not suffer from it anymore for my father, through hours and hours of intense exercise, "cured" me when I was an infant. What I am wondering is, can you have any long term effects/problems from Erb's Palsy? It's been 31 years since I suffered but have always felt a need to know more about it. After reading everyone's posts, I feel fortunate that I do not suffer from the consequences of this injury and feel blessed to have had a father that believed that "something" could be done...because as he remembers it, the doctors had said that nothing could really be done. Thanks for letting me share this story and I would appreciate any feedback. Andrea
