Story by: rita gillmeister in houston, tx 77035 usa My daughter Heater was born in Houston on 11-20-99 with a broken callar bone an brachial plexus. She is currently 15months old and is scheduled for mod-quad surgery on 3-12-01. We are very concerned about our making the right decision regarding the surgery. She has regain movement well. Yet she is still having difficult. We have suffered greatly as a family. We have been proactive parents from the beginning. Texas Children's in Houston, Tx is wonderful. What we are struggling with now is the legal procedures. We have seen a lawyer in Dallas who told us because Heather had movement we didn't have a real case. I have to believe that this is not the case. Somewhere there is a lawyer who is willing to take a risk. No child or family should have to go through what we have indured. These docotrs causing these injuries must pay for their actions. Anyone with advise please inform me! | ||||||||||
