Story by: sue horner in Herkimer , New York Us

I am 44 years old, last year on my birthday 5/22/00 i was meeting my sister and a friend. My self and another friend were stopped at a light waiting for it to turn when we were rear ended. I was stunned for what seemed to be for ever. I was told i hit my head on the side window and went into shock. I had a concussion, whiplash, neck and bsck injuries & was later told i had Horner syndrome , i thought it was a joke because my last name is Horner. My arm , hand and fingers on one hand laid limp and i could hardly move it but the doctors didn't know what was wrong. I was in so much pain because i got cluster head aches from the nerves in my head , and the nerves in my face ,my shoulder, arm, hand, fingers sharp stabbing pain. MY face was also knumb along with the arm ,hand, fingers,on the left side, no strength to lift them up. No one knew what was wrong with me . I was in a brain fog as the doctors called it for 9 months not knowing what was going on around me. When i came out of that that doctors started listeni
ng to me and oh most one year later they tell me i have brachial plexuas injury. So now i have a lable Horner Syndrome & brachial plexus. I still have some problems with my brain processing the right signals so i hope i didn't miss spell to much and explained my self good enough.
