• Slanderous or other targeted attacks aimed at individuals or institutions are not allowed.
• Courteous and respectful postings are expected from all participants.
• Posts will be deleted that are sarcastic or rude toward other posters or their remarks.
• Posts will be deleted that begin an argument or start a flame.
• By posting to these boards you agree to receive communication from UBPN in reference to your post (should it be necessary) via e-mail or any other method based on information provided in your post.
• Those who wish to advertise items of any nature should contact UBPN prior to posting on the UBPN message boards

If these guidelines are not followed, UBPN reserves the right to remove your post(s). As well, if you do not provide an e-mail address for UBPN to contact you, we reserve the right to remove your post(s).

The UBPN message boards are for public use and participants on our message boards should be aware of this when they post. We encourage people to use real screen names when posting, however we allow guest posts for those who are pursuing litigation, who are in fear of retribution from opposing counsel.

We do not provide personal information or IP addresses to anyone. UBPN will not remove posts purely for personal reasons. Individuals who need posts removed for legal reasons should submit a letter to UBPN (1610 Kent St. Kent, OH 42240) on official letterhead from their attorney stating that they are involved in litigation and need the posts removed for legal purposes.

The UBPN Board of Directors appreciates your use of the message boards, and would like to remind you that these boards are intended to give users an opportunity to communicate with other users. The message boards have been established as a charitable gift to the general public to further our mission statement. UBPN retains the right to remove offensive material, or material that does not support our mission. UBPN is not responsible or liable for the content of any of the messages on the message board nor is it responsible for the content of private emails between posters.

A Special Note to Attorneys and BPI Professionals: Do not use our message boards as a means to contact individuals to sign them up as clients. UBPN has provided a Professional Registry and you are welcome to register there with your contact information. If members of our community are in need of legal or medical services, they can then contact you. We have received negative feedback from members of our bpi community who have been emailed and solicited as clients because of comments they have made on the message boards. UBPN is not responsible for such emails nor do we endorse them.
