Re: London Transit System AGAIN !?!?
I'm just watching the news on it now! I couldn't believe it. I thought they were discussing the terrible incident of 2 weeks ago.
Take care, all! Our friends and their families and freinds in the UK are in my thoughts and prayers.

Re: What is an IEP?
It's an "Individual Education Plan" and includes the type of therapy and how often therapy will be given through the school during the school year.
Parent, therapist and teachers meet together to derive the plan that will work best for your child.

Rent some funny flicks and watch them with her.<br/> I wish you and your daug...

Re: martial arts??????
I think it would be great therapy; Emma (now 9 yrs, ROBPI) tried Karate a couple of years ago, but got frustrated because she couldn't do what other kids were doing with their arms. She also would rather do horseback riding....

Re: Was anyone's child's arm *not* completely paralyzed at first?
That was the same--finger movement only-- for my son, Joel (he's 21 months older than Emma). His function did return within a months time, however. He does have slight residual affects in supination and slight winging.

<t>Emma was completely paralyzed at birth (although the OB tried to tell me that she moved her figers at first --and then stopped?). She did get very little finger movement (grip--but weak) at about 2 months. Her thumb did not move or have any flexion and her strongest finger (and still is) is the r...
