Are casual clothes OK for Mt. Vernon or should we bring something more dressy? Thanks!

Casual is fine for Mt. Vernon!

When I visited Mt Vernon in early summer to meet with the people who will be setting up for our evening there, I noticed that the visitors were all wearing tourist clothes. So please dress comfortably.

I am here at the 4-H Center now, having arrived earlier this evening and it was a hot day in the 90s.

Please bring umbrellas as we may be getting some rain while you all are here.
