Hotels near Shriners in Philadelphia

Post by Marnie »

My son has an appointment with Dr. Kozin in October. For those who have been, any hotel recommendations?

Last time we were there we stayed at the Conwell Inn on Temple University...you can walk from the Inn to Broad Street (actually not a walk, you can see street from Inn) where there is a bus that passes probably every 20 minutes and passes right in front of the hospital...a few dollars for the bus....you ask for a pass and you can ride rest of the day for free....ask about driver....then you can also get a taxi...do not recall taxi cab fare....http://www.conwellinn.com/
Nice place, I do not know about restaurants though....you can get takeout delivered....best wishes...Louise

We stayed at the Ronald McDonald House last year. They also referred a driver for us way cheaper than taking a taxi. Good Luck.

The Ronald McDonald house has always had a room for us. We love it because it is a great way to meet others with simiar injuries. Call them! The one on Erie Ave is very new and a wonderful place to stay.
