I was just wondering how many moms out there are under 5'4"? I'm curious because this is a risk factor, and it seems like I've met so many moms that are on the shorter side, myself included, I'm 4'11". Also I wonder if short maternal stature has anything to due with pelvimetry? Are shorter people subject to smaller pelvic size, or a flattened pelvis?

My mom is 5'2" & I was her 5th child. She was over the age of 35 when she had me. She said her stomach was so large that she could sit a large dinner plate on her belly. The doctor must of known that I was going to be large. I was born 2 weeks late.

I'm under 5'4". I was told that women under that height should not be delivering babies over 8lbs.
