Anyone have trouble getting pregnant again?

Post by momma1 »

My daughter was diagnosed with BPI and is now 2. For the last year and some change we have been trying to get pregnant again and are unsuccessful. Now the Dr can't find one of my ovaries. Any MOM'S out there suffer from injury during the birth or having the same problem?

I had a second daughter 3 years after my first bpi, and had a c-section, and she is fine. I wanted my tubes tied since I felt almost selfish for having another child and the doc said one of my ovaries was gone too! It is so strange. I don't think it has anything to do with the injury but who knows???? I didn't seem to have any problems with fertility though. Good luck and god bless your family!

Well we had been trying to get pregnant for 3 years after my daughter who is 4 now. We even came to the point that we were considering fertility drugs. I have what is called polycystic ovaries. I am also postive that I am missing my right ovary do to a removal of a cyst. Ovary can sometimes die or wither up. I am not sure what the cause of that is. But I am hear to tell you that I am almost 6 months preg. Email me privately I can tell you more. nicki@g2a.net

I'm on the opposite end. The week before Melanie turned 1, I found out I was pregnant with Matthew. It definately wasn't a planned thing. It took 8 months of trying to get preg w/Melanie. About a month before she turned one we decided to start trying at the end of the year but we never got there.
Have you tried going to a specialist?

Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: LOBPI. I am 77 yrs old and never had a name for my injuries until 2004 when I found UBPN at age 66.

My injuries are: LOBPI on upper body and Cerebrael Palsy on the lower left extremities. The only intervention I've had is a tendon transplant from my left leg to my left foot to enable flexing t age 24 in 1962. Before that, my foot would freeze without notice on the side when wearing heels AND I always did wear them at work "to fit in" I also stuttered until around age 18-19...just outgrew it...no therapy for it. Also suffered from very very low self esteem; severe Depression and Anxiety attacks started at menopause. I stuffed emotions and over-compensated in every thing I did to "fit in" and be "invisible". My injuries were Never addressed or talked about until age 66. I am a late bloomer!!!!!

I welcome any and all questions about "My Journey".
